SMS Terms & Consent
Effective: September 1, 2026 | Last revised: September 1, 2026
This page describes the only text-message program Veripod Corp operates, and shows exactly how and where drivers consent to it. It is a standalone document — consent to receive text messages is not bundled into our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.
The program
- Program name
- Veripod Driver Account Verification
- Who receives messages
- Truck drivers whose employing carrier has provisioned them as a driver in its Veripod account. We do not send messages to anyone else — a request for a phone number that is not already a provisioned driver is rejected before any message is sent.
- Purpose
- One-time passcodes that confirm a driver's identity when signing in to the Veripod Driver mobile app.
- Message frequency
- One message per sign-in attempt. Drivers control this entirely — a message is only sent when the driver taps Send Code.
- Cost
- Veripod does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply.
How drivers opt in
Consent is given inside the Veripod Driver mobile app, on the sign-in screen, before any message is sent. A driver enters their phone number and taps Send Code. The consent disclosure appears directly above that button, reproduced verbatim below.
There is no keyword opt-in for this program — drivers do not text a keyword to subscribe, and we never add a number to the program on their behalf.

Consent language
By tapping Send Code, you agree to receive a one-time verification code by SMS from Veripod at the number above. Message and data rates may apply. One message per sign-in. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment, and it is not a condition of using any other part of the Veripod platform.
What we send — and what we never send
- Account-security verification codes (one-time passcodes) sent at sign-in.
- Marketing or promotional messages.
- Third-party or affiliate messages.
- Messages to any phone number that a carrier has not already provisioned as a driver.
A sample message reads: "Your Veripod verification code is: 123456. This code expires in 5 minutes. Do not share this code with anyone. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
How to opt out, and how to get help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from Veripod. You will receive a single confirmation, and no further messages will be sent.
Reply HELP for help, or email admin@veripod.ai.
What opting out means. SMS is currently the only sign-in verification method for the Veripod Driver app, so a driver who opts out will not receive a sign-in code until they reply START to resume, or ask their carrier's dispatcher for help. Opting out does not affect a shipper's or carrier's use of the Veripod web platform, which does not rely on SMS verification.
Carriers and delivery
Supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may fail if a device is switched off, out of coverage, or roaming.
Your privacy
Phone numbers collected for this program are used to deliver verification codes and to secure the driver's account. They are not sold, and they are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Our messaging provider processes the message on our behalf as a service provider. See the Privacy Policy for how Veripod Corp handles personal information generally.
